Where I fit

Agency Client Success Director

I spent nearly fifteen years on the agency side of the table — account management and account leadership at Atlanta shops from The Criterion Group and Corporate Reports through Direct Technologies, Merge, and Synaxis, plus founding my own branding agency, Engine 5. The client roster ran from Home Depot, UPS, BellSouth, and Georgia-Pacific annual reports to MCI direct mail programs and the After Six formalwear brand overhaul.

Then I moved client-side and became the person agencies report to: directing all vendor and agency relationships at In Touch Ministries — budgeting, forecasting, management, and analysis. I know exactly what makes a client renew, what makes them quietly start shopping, and how the account team's habits create one outcome or the other.

That both-sides fluency is what I'd bring to a client success role: I can coach account teams from experience, spot at-risk relationships early because I've been the dissatisfied client, and build the processes that make good service repeatable rather than heroic.
